A physical audio waveform moving through colorful sampling, chopping, sequencing, and effects equipment.
Concept visualizationA sound moves from capture through shaping into a playable sample.

The challenge

Sampling on mobile can require a chain of disconnected tools: capture the sound, identify its tempo and key, stretch or chop it, sequence it, and export it into the next creative environment. The product idea needed both a clear musician-first workflow and technically demanding audio behavior.

Think Insights' role

Think Insights translated the original concept into product scope, interaction patterns, mobile architecture, audio-processing workflows, and a working Android-first product foundation.

What we built

  • Audio import, microphone recording, and supported system-audio capture workflows
  • Tempo and key analysis, time stretching, warping, chopping, sequencing, and reverb
  • Export paths for reusable audio, sample, and instrument workflows

Why it matters

WARP MCHN demonstrates the studio's ability to learn a specialized creative domain, reduce a complex workflow to its essential interactions, and engineer a product where the technical experience is the customer experience.
